The four nights for this division are still being set: three round-robin nights, then a finals night. Register now to hold your place — we'll email every registered team the dates as soon as they are fixed.
How a tie runs
Six games, everyone partners everyone.
A tie is your team against one other team, and you may play more than one tie in a night. Four players make six possible partnerships. Across three rounds on two courts, every player plays three doubles games and partners each teammate exactly once. Games are side-out to 11, win by 2, capped at 15.
Win a game, win a standings point. Win the tie and you take a bonus point on top — seven points are on the table in every tie.
If the six games finish 3–3, the tie is decided by a Doubles Dreambreaker: one game of rally scoring to 21, win by 1, with the winning point won on serve. All four players take part — pairs change every 4 points in the order of the night's games: 1 & 2, 3 & 4, 1 & 3, 2 & 4, 1 & 4, 2 & 3, then round again. The winner takes the tie and the bonus point. The Dreambreaker is not submitted to DUPR.
A tie runs about 75–80 minutes. Please arrive ready to play 15 minutes before your start time.
